William is a hardworking man who works Monday through Saturday in house construction as a masonry assistant to provide for his household. They have been living together as a couple for 22 years.
The house and land belong to María, and the house was built 12 years ago entirely out of metal sheets. During the rainy season, the floor becomes very damp due to leaks in the roof and because the land is swampy. Likewise, the deterioration of the metal sheets is evident and creates difficult living conditions for them.
