Catalina lives with her 12-year-old son, Brayan, and her husband, José. They have been together for three years. While her husband works, Catalina takes care of their home and family.
Their current home is made of bahareque and sheet metal and is in poor condition. The roof is supported by bamboo, which deteriorates over time and has to be replaced every year. Catalina and her family are very happy and grateful for the opportunity to have a new home—a safe and dignified place where they can build a better future together.
