Juan is a responsible man who helps his wife with her business sales. He used to work in agriculture in the fields, but he stopped doing that kind of work because 17 years ago he was diagnosed with chronic kidney failure. They have been together as a couple for 30 years.
The property belongs to Juan’s mother, and the house is made of metal sheets and pieces of wood. During the rainy season, they suffer from flooding due to the streams that pass near the house, as well as many leaks in the roof. The house was built 50 years ago.
