This Christmas Season we can bring hope and joy! Let’s change an entire village by donating to help 100 families in urgent need in the village of Salamar. Watch this video to get a glimpse of the community and the families that will be impacted.

Building structures with plastic, sticks, and mud was their only option to take cover from the elements. But we believe that everyone should have adequate housing. A home should be a sanctuary, the centre of a family’s life. A place for a family to live in peace, security and dignity. This Christmas Season we can share the love of God and hope of Jesus by giving a life-changing gift to families in urgent need.

Families with nowhere to go
High rent and threat of gang violence forced them to look for a new place to call home. With government permission they pieced together makeshift structures on an abandoned railway track but were thankful for a peaceful place to live.

Shelter Team brings hope
Shelter employs a staff of over 40 Salvadorans who will be on the ground to work with the families in Salamar. The Shelter Team will build the homes alongside the families and provide support throughout the entire process. Working side by side, the Shelter Team will share the love of God and hope of Jesus.
