José is a man devoted to his family and his work. Every day, he carries out agricultural labor in the fields to provide for his household, planting corn, beans, and sometimes sesame. They have been married for 42 years.
The land and house belong to María. A house was built for her as assistance after the 2001 earthquake, and 12 years ago additional spaces were added to her small home. During the rainy season, they suffer from roof leaks and strong winds.
