Marta goes from house to house in different communities asking for help, as she suffers from serious knee problems. Each day, she seeks support to be able to afford food. She lives with her son, Vidal (45), who also relies on the kindness of friends and neighbors to survive, since a car accident left both his feet badly injured and makes it very difficult for him to walk. Alongside them is María (25), whom Marta adopted as her daughter, and who struggles with mental health challenges.
Together, they live in a house in very poor condition, with dirt walls and a roof improvised from cardboard and scraps held down only by bricks.
