José doesn’t work at the moment because he suffered from a fall while he was working , that happened many years ago but he is still suffering from the illness. His wife Colombina passed away last November. His sons live close by, so they help him with food and living expenses.
His house was built 40 years ago, the house is old as it is made of bahareque and bamboo sticks. He built the house for his family, but now, he will be the only one living in it.
