They have lived in this house for five years. Before that, they lived in a rented place for over 20 years.
After moving to the current place, they built their home with great effort using the limited income Norma earns from selling piñatas, along with the work of her husband and her daughter’s partner. Together, they manage to get by. The house is made of wood or bamboo, metal sheets, and has a concrete floor.
