Fátima lives with her husband and her daughter; neither of them was at home at the time of the interview. Her 8-year-old daughter makes bracelets to sell at school, and her mother supports her by buying the materials so she can make and sell them with her classmates.
Most of the walls of their house are made of plastic, and the metal sheets they have were donated and are damaged. During the rainy season, water gets inside and the house remains damp. Both she and her daughter suffer from sinusitis and are receiving treatment at the hospital; however, when it rains, their symptoms get worse.
